Mike graduated from Tipton High School in 1964. He loved trees - he would call them "God's natural cathedrals". He loved the Purdue Boilermakers. He had a remarkable memory, remembering old and new friends; some say he never met a stranger. The family appreciates any monetary donations to assist with the funeral services.
Mike was a sweet and gentle soul and we will miss him in the choir. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Michael was such an example of a good and faithful servant...he loved our Lord. We had many conversations that I will always treasure. He helped me to lead a group discussion at St. Luke’s about organ donation and transplants. What a special and humble man whose friendship I will always remember.

Our hearts go out to Arlene, Michelle and Rick with the lose of their brother and our old friend, Michael D. He was "one of a kind" for sure. A good friend and true Boilermaker, a terrific orator, a lover of music and barbershop harmony. Mike never hesitated to speak his mind. And he did so eloquently and with heart. He will be missed.
Warning!
