Steve Savio, 53, passed away on December 3, 2022 surrounded by his 3 siblings: Edward, Michael, and Maria Savio. He was predeceased by his parents, Gwen and James Savio. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Avary Wirzulis of Meriden. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4-8pm at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford.A private burial will be held in the future and a Celebration of Steve’s Life will occur in late spring. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Steve's memory will go towards helping with his final expenses and a future celebration of his life.

Steve was definitely one in a million. A hilarious and intelligent guy with a huge heart. I haven’t spoken to Steve in almost 10 years but enjoyed following his antics on Facebook. One thing is for certain, he was an amazing father with an enormous amount of love for his daughter. RIP, friend.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Steve. He had an amazing gift of wit that will be missed. But most of all, he was a man that was dedicated to his daughter that he would move heaven and earth for her. He truly will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to siblings and Avary.
