Steve Savio, 53, passed away on December 3, 2022 surrounded by his 3 siblings: Edward, Michael, and Maria Savio. He was predeceased by his parents, Gwen and James Savio. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Avary Wirzulis of Meriden. 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4-8pm at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford.

A private burial will be held in the future and a Celebration of Steve’s Life will occur in late spring.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in Steve's memory will go towards helping with his final expenses and a future celebration of his life.

Mrs. Sherita Murphy-Gray, 39, born on December 17,1982 in Franklin, VA to Mr. Shelton Devon Artis, Sr. and Ms. Leshia Ann Murphy, passed away on November 19, 2022.

Sherita attended Potomac Job Corp where she received her high school diploma. She attended Olive Branch Baptist Church at a young age and later rededicated her life to First Baptist Church in Franklin, VA. Once she relocated to Jacksonville, FL, she joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Sherita worked as a full-time CNA at Riverwood Center in Jacksonville, FL before coming ill in 2016.

She loved spending time with family and friends. Baking was one of her favorite hobbies. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping and feeding the less fortunate. On Saturday November 19, 2022, Sherita and God had a conversation. He offered her a promotion of a lifetime that she couldn’t turn down. She was promoted from an Earthy Angel to a Heavenly Angel.

Leon “Lee” Lomont Dorsey, 60 of Jefferson, formerly of Homestead, passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 11th, 1962, to the late Kenneth and Fannie (Bonner) Dorsey. He is survived by son Leon Mills of Pittsburgh and daughters Lona, Leelah, and Debbie Mills of Atlanta, GA, Fannie Dorsey of Pittsburgh, and Garylynn Mills of Homewood. He is further survived by sister Madeline Dorsey of Jefferson, as well as brothers Kenneth Dorsey of Penn Hills, William Dorsey of Homestead, and Montez Jones of Clairton, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and his grandchildren. Leon was preceded in death by his parents. He enjoyed painting, playing basketball, running, biking, and detailing cars. Leon was a self-employed handyman who will be remembered for his athleticism and love for music, as well as his personality. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, from 6-8 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place following the visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs. Shirley Ann Hill was born on January 22, 1944 in Washington, DC. Shirley was a lifelong resident of DC. Her professional career was spent with the US Department of Justice.
Shirley was a very nice person who loved to have a good time.
Shirley was the proud mother of four children Patricia Ann Hill, Rodney Lydell Hill, Timothy Dondell Hill, and Serena Darlene Hill.
Shirley had two sisters: Luvenia Hill and Virginia Bolden; and three brothers: Theodore, Thomas Robert & Al. she had a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley had ten grandchildren: Tamara , Tyrek , Maurice , Sergio , Malik , Reko ,Keda, Tonicia, and Lil Rodney, DeAngelo and six great-grandchildren: Tamara , Tyrek , Maurice , Sergio , Malik , Reko ,keda, Tonicia, Lil Rodney, DeAngelo.
Shirley also had a host of nieces and nephews who include: MeeMee, Derrick, Yul, Linda, Tina, Debbie, Joe,Sheree, Edward, Carl Wayne, Wayne, and many more.
She also leaves to mourn her absence, her ex-husband, Charles Young b.k.a. "Boobie"
