Mr. Randall Allen Smith, 52 of Morganton, departed this earthly life on Saturday June 17, 2023 at McAlpine Adult Care. Born May 1, 1971 in Marion, NC, he was the son of Mrs. Marilyn Young Corrillo. He resided in Morganton for a number of years. Randy, as he was affectionately known, was a kind hearted and loving man who loved the Lord with all of his heart. Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife Freda Smith of Yanceyville, NC; his mother Marilyn Corrillo of Greensboro, NC; stepson Zachary McDaniel, step-grandson Tommy McDaniel both of Yanceyville, NC; brother Phillip Stewart, devoted cousins Curtis Young Sr., Chase Young, and Curtis Young Jr. of Morganton, NC, and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Let us continue to keep the Smith, Young, and connected families in our thoughts and prayers.

Steven Bell, a loving son and father was born on, August 24, 1983, to the late Ronald Curtis Lockhart and Veronica Lockhart. He gained his heavenly wings on June 2, 2023.


Steven was raised in Newport News, Virginia. Steven will be remembered as an excellent football player. He was loved by everyone he met with his generous big-hearted spirit. Steven was known as a hard worker. Along with that, he was an outstanding devoted father to his son. Steven loved his mother and family.

Steven was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his father. He leaves to cherish precious memories: his mother, Veronica Lockhart, three siblings; Ronald Bell (Veltrinna), Danté Bell, and Brandy Bell; his son Steven Bell, Jr.; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He left an unforgettable imprint on the heart of all with whom he came in contact. Steven will be greatly missed!

Elaina was a loving mother, daughter, sister, auntie and great auntie. With her sweet, bubbly and outgoing personality, she was loved by all who knew her. Taken too soon, she will be greatly missed.
