Shirley was a very nice person who loved to have a good time.
Shirley was the proud mother of four children Patricia Ann Hill, Rodney Lydell Hill, Timothy Dondell Hill, and Serena Darlene Hill.
Shirley had two sisters: Luvenia Hill and Virginia Bolden; and three brothers: Theodore, Thomas Robert & Al. she had a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley had ten grandchildren: Tamara , Tyrek , Maurice , Sergio , Malik , Reko ,Keda, Tonicia, and Lil Rodney, DeAngelo and six great-grandchildren: Tamara , Tyrek , Maurice , Sergio , Malik , Reko ,keda, Tonicia, Lil Rodney, DeAngelo.
Shirley also had a host of nieces and nephews who include: MeeMee, Derrick, Yul, Linda, Tina, Debbie, Joe,Sheree, Edward, Carl Wayne, Wayne, and many more.
She also leaves to mourn her absence, her ex-husband, Charles Young b.k.a. "Boobie"

A service is planned for November 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Frazier Mason Memorial Funeral Home., 1661 Good Hope Rd SE.

Doris had two children Troy S. Austin (deceased) and Yvette Austin. Doris had seven siblings Linda Brooks (deceased), Melvin Austin (deceased), Oscar Austin, Jr. (deceased), Robert Earl Austin (deceased), Dianne Womack, Kathy Austin and Patricia Austin. Doris had three grandchildren Edward Bragg, Duckie Austin and Andre' Austin, and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

He was always cracking jokes, playing pranks, and brightening the room with his presence. He had his entire life ahead of him and was on a path to find success wherever he ended up.

Jesus “Art” Arturo, 59, of Garden City, Kansas passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Art was born May 13, 1963 in San Luiz, Mexico; the oldest of ten children. Art married Michelle Titus on June 15, 1996 in Sioux City, Iowa. Soon after, Art and Michelle moved to Garden City and start their life together. Art was a plumber, and worked for several companies including Tatro’s Plumbing, BT Plumbing and MidWest PMS. Art was preceded in death by his grandparents, and father Lois Guillen. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Michelle Ramirez; his mother, Delores Gomez; two daughters, Abigail Ramirez and Isabella Ramirez; brothers, Eduardo Ramirez; Gabriel Ramirez; Mario Sandoval; Juaquin Guillen; Jerardo Guillen; sisters, Naomi Sandoval; Yessenia Guillen; Ycela Gomez Ramirez; and Enrika Gomez Ramirez The family is planning memorial services at a later date, cremation services are provided by the Robson Funeral Home in Garden City.

Lonnie Carlton Hughes, age 73, of Sardis, MS past from this life Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at his home in Sardis, MS. He was born August 26, 1949, in Poplar Grove, AR to Olan and Mary (Jenkins) Hughes. Lonnie was an honest and hard working man. He is described by his family as very giving and kind. After graduating from school, Lonnie was drafted into the United States Army where he bravely served his country in Vietnam as a medic. After returning home, he went to trade school where he learned and became a master electrician. Knowledge that would benefit him his entire carrier in the maintenance field. He started at Gingrey in Memphis, TN and ultimately retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital in August of 2022 after 19 years of faithful service. As Lonnie loved working with his hands, he had many hobbies and talents, which included wood working and build things from scratch. He also enjoyed building models, jigsaw puzzles, and working in his yard. It is said he even made great peanut butter cookies. But nothing meant more to him than his family, who will miss him dearly.

Visitation is planned for Thursday, October 20, 2022, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Raymond Aven officiating. Burial will be in Drivers Flat Cemetery.

Lonnie is survived by one son, David Hughes (Rhonda) of Water Valley; two daughters, Patty Lott (Richard) of Grenada, Sheila Guzman (Isaias) of Michigan City, MS; eight grandchildren, Mikey, Ashley, William, Mercy, Alyssa, Austin, Destiny, Chase; six great- grandchildren; and one sister, Diane McLemore (Freeman)

Along with his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hughes; and one grandson, Justin Chambers.
