5/15/1950 - 5/5/2021
Update - Thank you all for your donations. We are pleased to announce that with the assistance of the Washington Township Trustee and the Mary T. Klinker Foundation, Terry's funeral expenses are covered. His casketed remains were buried in the beautiful and sacred grounds of Marion National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021. His life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Friday, May 14th in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. On behalf of his step-daughter, Gerrie Walker, thank you to all who contributed.

Klinker. We certainly thank her family for their generosity towards their daughter's fellow Vietnam veterans.

MAy 6, 2021 - Terry Scybert was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. Sadly, his journey ended very tragically last night. In a recent study, the Veterans Administration found that 1 of every 5 veterans face serious depression. Terry was that one. His health struggles had drained his energy and finances and the recent diagnosis of cancer was more than he could bear. His family is left with the shock of it all plus a financial burden that is beyond their means. Because Terry is a veteran, he is entitled to be buried at the Marion National Cemetery which will cover the cost of a grave space, a vault, the opening & closing of the graves plus a military marker. It is a beautiful cemetery - much like a small version of Arlington - with the white marble stones in rows everywhere you look. So that part is covered. The family will be applying for trustee assistance and the $100 Indiana Soldier burial to help towards the casket and funeral services. This crowdfunding website is a way for you to help this veteran receive a proper burial. If everyone would just chip in a few dollars - what a powerful message that would send to his family - they need to know people care. Thank you in advance for your kindness to one who served. God bless our veterans and God bless the United States of America. (Fisher Funeral Chapel waives all fees associated with credit card processing so 100% of your donation goes directly to the funeral home electronically to be applied to Terry's final expenses.)

Annette Linzy
7/12/1957 - 5/2/2021
Annette Linzy, lovingly known as Pinky, was the baby girl of the Cheadle family, with 13 siblings. She suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for almost a decade. COPD greatly restricted her everyday life activities. Even so, she continued to interact with friends and family, frequently relying on portable oxygen to sustain visitations. Recurring coughing spells that restricted her breathing, couldn’t keep her away from Sunday church services. Concerned about others first, she grew accustom to excusing herself and stepping out in the hallway when her coughing became excessive and she felt it was a distraction from the Ministers message. As her disease progressed, her hospitalizations became more frequent, with an increase in breathing treatments and steroid shots to assist her in fighting for her next breath. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease was finally victorious over Pinky on May 1, 2021. A wonderful mother, she leaves behind three surviving children, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
